Ooldouz brings a rare mix of artistic floral expertise and a keen photographer's eye. Trained at the FlowerSchool New York, and holding a Master’s Degree in Photography from the School of Visual Arts, she understands not just flowers, but how to shape them into unforgettable moments through form, color, and composition.

Her work has attracted clients like Ralph Lauren, Cartier, Disney, and Tiffany & Co., and delivered upscale weddings and events at top venues like the Bel-Air Bay Club and JW Marriott LA Live. Drawing from her Persian heritage and a love of airy, expressive design, Ooldouz creates florals that feel both timeless and playfully fresh.

When we say full wedding service, we mean it. From ceremony to reception to afterparty, anything floral you need on the wedding day our team can deliver. Bridal bouquets and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages, ceremony arrangements (altar, aisle, arch, chuppa), cocktail hour florals, reception centerpieces, sweetheart table flowers, cake flowers, specific cultural florals including persian Sofreh Aghd or Varmala, and any special installations you're dreaming of that tie-in with the architecture of your chosen venue. We handle delivery, setup, and optional breakdown with rental collection if necessary.

Most of our client’s wedding florals start at a cost of around $3,500 for intimate weddings, with fuller designs ranging from $5,000-$15,000+. Your final investment though will depend heavily on your guest count, design complexity, flower choices, and venue needs.

We'll recommend where to focus your budget for maximum impact, and can suggest alternative options that achieve your vision in a variety of ways. When should we book our wedding florist?

We recommend at least booking 6-12 months before your wedding date. Popular dates (especially April through October) fill up fast. If you're planning something in the next few months, reach out, we may still have availability.

The best wedding flowers depend on your season, style, and budget. Roses and peonies are timeless classics. Ranunculus, and anemones work beautifully for some whimsy. For modern or dramatic looks, consider dahlias, orchid blooms, or textrual varieties like protea.

We always recommend choosing seasonal blooms. They’ll be fresher, more affordable, and photograph beautifully. During your consultation, we can suggest flowers that match your vision and wedding date, as well as plan for any seasonality.

What is a reasonable price for wedding flowers?

Most couples in Ventura, OC and Los Angeles spend between $3,500-$8,000 on wedding flowers. Smaller weddings (under 75 guests) with simple needs might start around $2,500-$3,500. Larger weddings (150 guests or more) with more elaborate designs typically range from $8,000-$15,000+. Your final cost depends on guest count, flower choices, design complexity, and how many areas need florals (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc.).

Is $500 enough for wedding flowers?

$500 might typically cover basic personals such as a bridal bouquet and a few bridesmaid bouquets, but won't include ceremony or reception florals for a full wedding. If you have a smaller budget, we can suggest alternatives like focusing your florals on key moments (bridal party or head table). We source from multiple growers and always have backup options. If a specific flower isn't available, we'll find something similar that achieves the same look and feel.

Do you only do full-service weddings?

We focus on full-service to give you the best experience, but we're flexible. If you need just ceremony flowers or wedding party personals, let's talk and see if we're a good fit.

What local areas do you serve?

We deliver throughout Ventura County (Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Oxnard, Ventura), Santa Barbara County, Orange County, and Los Angeles County (Malibu, Calabasas, West LA, Downtown). If your venue is outside these areas, contact us, we often make exceptions for special locations!

What happens after I book my consultation?

You'll receive a confirmation email, and if you haven't already filled one out a short questionnaire about your wedding. This helps us prepare for our conversation! After the consultation, you'll get your custom proposal usually within 5-7 days.

How far in advance do you need my final guest count?

We ask for your final guest count about 4 weeks before your wedding, but the earliest you can confirm this the better! This helps us order the right amount of flowers and plan centerpiece quantities accurately. Small adjustments closer to your date are usually fine, but significant changes may affect pricing.

Do you provide flowers for rehearsal dinners or brunches?

Yes! Many couples want flowers for pre-wedding events and post-wedding gatherings. We can coordinate all your floral needs for an entire wedding weekend! Just mention this during your consultation so we can include it in your proposal.
