Light needs: Needs around 6 hours of full sun per day. A major sun lover. The Coconut Palm also thrives in hot environments and can be placed outside to receive full sun if it starts to look a little sad. The more sun the better. Best for a home here in sunny SoCal.  

Watering: Keep soil moist but not soggy.
